Seeing the light – creating a coherent visual theme for PR and advertising

Gardasoft produce world-leading LED light driving and control technology. They needed to create a ‘look’ that gave a coherent visual theme to their products for use in PR and advertising in print and online.
Striking the right balance
One of the challenges with photographing specialised, cutting edge, advanced products is that to the untrained eye, they can look, well, anything but cutting edge. Particularly when viewed out of context.
With that in mind I wanted to create a striking and detailed set of images that connects the technology to its function and brings it to life.
My instinct was to use light streaks. By integrating these into detailed focus stacked studio shots, these complement the needs of the brief. And create a connection between the key requirements.
The result was a set of images that work together to describe the role of the technology as well as providing eye-catching imagery for the client’s PR and advertising.
